Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Since the mid 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked in film and TV. Her work has been recognized with several awards, among them 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and raised by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at five years old in order to be closer to their mother and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett was in high school when she was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of becoming an actor had been born. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Masters in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
